Not quite got kids....

Here is a photo of Balthazar and Bud. I think they're great. They're my camel and my teenage son! I've started using them quite a lot recently. It's been great fun. I'm hoping to add to the collection.. and perhaps one day have a real teenage son (not a real camel). That I think will be quite some time in the future though.
It's a bit concerning when people start talking to the puppet more than you though. Do I smell or something? Perhaps its my breath.. I don't spit. Camels do!

Well what an interesting week!

It's been a strange time since I last wrote really. Both SU and Bradford said no.
Now that was bizarre as I really thought I knew God's plan. But obviously not. He likes surprises I guess. So it's up to Him (like always) to reveal what he wants.

I'm not sure we'll be able to afford the Llama trek as it seems pretty expensive per person and we're not exactly rolling in it at the moment (I mean money!... rolling in money!)But we'll see. It just depends on how desperate people are to go for a walk with the amazing funny creatures.

Bizarre happenings in the world of yfronts. I had at least 6 texts today with yfronts featuring nice and boldly.. one pair being on my housemates dads head. There's some parts of your housemate's life that you really don't want to be part of... his dad's pants drawer being one of those parts!

And i must mention bananas. They make you happy. Forget chocolate, beer, wine and sugary drinks! Try eating a bunch of bananas. You might find (like me) that you start laughing.. you might not.. It just depends on how miserable you are to begin with!

It's a happy Monday LLama!

Here is the beloved llama! I'm still working on the Church Llama trek. I'm worried it might be too expensive... but we'll see!

Had an excellent time yesterday with the Becketts. Went to Hunstanton Old beach. ate icecream. splashed about in the sea - and to top the day off went to church, watched a movie and ate chinese take away.

Still no word from bradford - how annoying!
No more news today

I was gonna wait....

I was going to wait until I had a little more news before I posted again but I felt that i might as well say something now - even if it is only just to say - Hey I'm alive!

Loads has happened since I last wrote. As you know I went to this other festival - called Grapevine. That was a very bizarre weekend. On Sunday night some of the seating in the main tent collapsed and people were trapped and stuff. I was in another tent and my family was in the main tent and for a while it was pretty scary stuff. Praise God that noone died... and its amazing how there was an awesome sense of peace across the campsite and groups of people just praying and worshipping God.

Well after coming back on the tuesday morning. I then got myself ready for the presentation for SU and then travelled down to my sisters (Ab) as she is not too far from Milton Keynes. I did the presentation. It was ok. It was a bit weird knowing two of the panel (there were 4) but i guess i was at ease there.

Still no word from Bradford now. Which is getting a little annoying. Well I'll call them again on Monday if I still haven't heard.

Other news (not really my news though!) - My mum and dad returned from Grapevine only to find out that they had been broken into. Pretty annoying really... and today I found out my cousin (Dan) is engaged. Now this is worrying (not for him - for me!) as it puts more pressure on me to find myself a nice wife and settle down. Well I'm ready so if any nice ladies are looking then I'm here!

And lastly... somebody yesterday asked me what was so great about llamas! Come on! Have you not seen them? They have long necks and goofy looks. They just shout out... I'm a silly looking creature. Really they do!
News on the llama front. I may have convinced my pastor to have a church llama trek day! How cool would that be. a whole church taking out a pack/school/herd (whatever its called) of llamas and having a picnic with them!
