Oooh lots of things have happened.. shall I tell you?

Well, I'm writing a little later than I expected to.. but as I thought... a lot has happened.

First of all let's start with the Chelmsford interview. That went ok. They said I would be a very nice person to work with but they felt that I needed more experience particularly in the classroom. I was a little disappointed when they told me but I came to the realisation that it obviously wasn't God's plan and so I just had to trust him... so here I am.. trusting him even more....

So - with that happening I then met up with the guy again from NYFC and talked about the exciting stuff again. It's hard to believe but I've actually applied for a job in Norwich. I have thought long and hard about it and have tried to work out what I needed. I know it's right for me to leave Holt at this time. I need the city and according to the boundary signs around Norwich... Norwich is a FINE CITY

So it's all over to God again. I've pushed the door and now I need to wait to see if he keeps it open or firmly shuts it. If he wants me in Norwich I'm willing to stay. If he wants to use me here then that's fine. (well more than fine) It also means that I don't have to leave the amazing people God has surrounded me with.

The picture on this blog entry is something my house mate sent me. I think that it's just a little bit rude.. don't you?! Especially when he is moving to Latvia in the new year!

Oh - I can't believe I've actually not mentioned my last big shindig in Holt (as part of my job) I don't like to do things normal - as some of you will know - so on 18th December 2004 we have the Christmas Party - called.... The SUB MARINE STOMP It's going to be an underwater theme. We're planning to have a lighthouse, a boat, loads of blue stuff, fishes and oh so much more. I'm really looking forward to it. We're tying in the Christmas message too (if you're wondering how we're going to do that then you should really come along!)Some of the things we'll be doing will be underwater music round, whoopee cushion mines, gargling round, a fishy murder mystery... I'm really really excited. So i best stop before you get excited too.

I've talked enough now so bye for now

I can feel it in my corns

I have a feeling I'm going to be commenting a lot on this in the next week - so I thought I would warn you. I had an amazing meeting with a guy from Norwich YFC today. I got really excited about stuff but I can't tell you right now as its all in God's hands... especially with this interview in Chelmsford on Saturday.
So get ready to look at this again soon.. As I will be commenting!!!

Ciao

It makes your eyes boggle!

Well... I have finally announced to my church that I won't be coming back in the new year. It was a hard thing to do but it needed to be done.

I have a job interview for Schools Youth Ministries in Chelmsford on 20th November. Its pretty scary stuff but if its where God wants me then thats cool
I'm also waiting to hear from a job working for a church in Lancashire. Both these jobs sounds pretty exciting and i'll go wherever God takes me.

Don't really have much else to say today. It's nearly Christmas - will be good to get home to the family for a while. But being nearly Christmas its almost coming to the end of my time in Norfolk. Very scary. And on a more serious note. I know that I need some time out to recharge and refocus but I'm not sure how to do it. So if you're into the praying thing please pray that God gives me guidance about that.
Cheers
