I'm back.. Did you miss me?

Well Soul Survivor has been and gone and its been an interesting time.
Weather wasn't the greatest but it wasn't enough to ruin it... made me laugh a few times with cooking outdoors.. had to dive in throwing the pans at my young people and battling with the porch part of the tent in the downpour trying to shut it and get the gas stove inside so we can keep dry!

Loads of people got really excited about a huge rainbow over the campsite. For me it reminded us about how big and awesome our God is.

God was excellent (but i didn't doubt that).. the times of worship were pretty cool... and God did some amazing things thru the words of the most excellent worship leaders.... and God taught me a lot. He gave me a lot of pictures - some challenging some encouraging. I think that he did some cool stuff with the young people I took too.

I think a huge thing for me was (re)learning to praise him no matter how i was feeling and just giving him the glory and praise that he so rightly deserves.

I also went with my own agenda too.... a kind of "ok God.. you can do this this week and we can sort things out at a certain time" etc.... but God being God decided to do things differently. He met me in the market place when i was just chatting to someone on one of the charity stalls. that was pretty amazing!

I am so ready for what God has in store for me... i'm almost bursting. I'm praying that he gives me the desires of my heart... I'll keep you posted.
August has been an interesting month and i'm almost back up to normal energy levels. I'm deciding whether to go to another huge Christian event at the end of the month. If i do i think i'll be the 14th member of my family there which would be pretty cool. God has done some amazing things in my family i am so blessed.

And for those that know... the deadline for SU and Bradford was 20th so I'm waiting on those. pretty exciting stuff really.
