Where has it gone?

I can't believe that I last posted in July! I don't know where the time has gone.. I truly don't!

Here's the photo of the set from the Eaton holiday club. That was number 3 in a three week time of mayhem.

The mission was excellent. We had lots of young people hungry to know more about God. One young person hurt themself on the last night because of a bouncy castle but that didn't put a dampener on things. God was doing some excellent stuff.

I also went to Soul Survivor after the holiday clubs. Which I'm sure I mentioned in my last post... ah yes... I did... It was an excellent time with 11,000 young people and lots of people making first time committments. Some of the new songs they did were particularly of top quality... Almighty God... and See His Love are just two I'd like to give special mention to.

I then booked a last minute flight to Majorca with my mate from leeds. That was excellent. We chilled most of the time...reading..sunbathing.. and then going out in the evening. Had some fantastic meals out there.. didn't try any of the local spanish dishes as i'm not really a big fan of fishy stuff... although... i did have a whole sea bass to myself on the last night which was awesome... I stunk of fish for the flight home though which wasn't quite so awesome!

New stuff happening at work - which is pretty funky. Started a new group for 14+'s at Eaton and reshaping the whole of the youth ministry slowly. With Wymondham.. we're building on what has already gone on before. With the hope of some new exciting stuff coming up.

Still spending time with the lovely office manager.. although.. not enough time! But hopefully things should settle down for the new term and we might get to see each other at normal times rather than after a late night at work.

I also met my new nephew in August. That was pretty funky. Can't believe I'm an uncle for the 8th time! I'm hoping that I'll be a father before I have another nephew or niece... but you never know... it might be 11 by the time I get to be a dad.

If you haven't watched Spooks this autumn... you should! it's amazing that the stories that they have covered so far have included stuff that happened after they were filmed. It certainly gets you thinking.

I think I've said enough for now... so I'll leave you. I promise I'll update sooner this time. Don't miss me too much. And if you haven't been in touch recently. Please do.
