Almost November!

The photo I've included is of James and Becki from Wymondham on the leaders away day. I think James is trying to convince Becki that the balloon thing will look good in their living room for when they get married.. I'm not quite sure!?!

Christmas seems to be fast approaching and it almost seems like a rollercoaster that is out of control as we plummet towards all the stuff we have to do for it!
I am looking forward to returning up north though for a bit of the good old family fun!

So.. what's been happening in my life???... well

Compared to last time I wrote - I'm actually getting to see the office manager now. (outside of office hours) its pretty cool. We've managed to see each other I think 5 days in a row (if you can include the meal tonight!) We're going out with a couple of my old friends from my last job. So that should be pretty funky.

I also can't remember whether I told you that I now have a flat mate. He moved in at the beginning of October as he started working with NYFC then too. Its nice to have someone around so that's cool. His name is Paul Roast - so if you meet him - you'll know what to call him.

This week sees the superheroes activity day. (basically a one day holiday club!)
I'm not sure how its going to turn out but I'm looking forward to it. I'm also getting to work with one of my colleagues Matt. Which should be excellent as we seem to be on the same wavelength when it comes to children's ministry. I'm sure I'll have some photos from that to share with you all at some point. Let's not forget that Balthazar will be making an appearance that day too.. as... Bubble boy (o yes!)

Norwich life seems to be going well. I haven't sprouted a 2nd head on my shoulders so that seems to be a good sign! It's pretty exciting to slowly work out what God has planned for me. Sometimes things seem to go amazingly fast and scary and then there are times when they don't seem to go anywhere fast at all. But its all good stuff.

I'm still watching Spooks... and I'm still enjoying it lots! I blame my best mate for getting me into that. Although I don't actually mind.. cos it's top-notch viewing
